Jack and I went to see this the day after Christmas. It was really good. Full of laughs and situations you can imagine yourself in. Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin all had parts perfect for them. Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin have been divorced for 10 years. He left Meryl for a younger woman that he had been courting and it took Meryl several years to get over it and to move on. Now he sees her at a friends anniversary and after reminiscing a bit he sees her for the beautiful woman that she has always been. The fun starts there. Meanwhile Meryl is having an addition built onto her home and her new architect is going through a divorce, as well and so they hit it off. Meryl comes through as a fun loving, sensible beauty in this film. I highly recommend this movie if you want something lighthearted and fun.Popcorn, anyone?
