The Robins' nest on our settee just to the left of our front door. Maybe 4 feet away, on our porch.

Sunday she laid another. Never knew they were a day apart.
Monday there were 3. Aren't they such a vibrant blue? Now she is on them constantly, only leaving for short periods of time. We are using the side door so as not to disturb her.
I snapped all of these egg shots when she was not in sight. Funny how she chose the settee to make her nest. Does the female make the nest? No penthouse for her, just down home comfort in a secure, protected location. Hope the cats that visit the porch from time to time stay away. Any fun things happening in your yard this spring?
