Some photos from our Charleston, South Carolina trip last summer. I am yearning to go back and needed a little sunshine in my life today, so off I go on a mini vacation. Come along with me. We can have a tall lemonade or sweet tea out on the veranda.
Since it is sunny and 100'F we will need to cool off in the shade or at the beach. Which would you rather?
There's a porch swing and ceiling fans.
There is a nice breeze at the beach but it is still toasty. The water looks calm.
The seagulls have black heads. hmmm...never saw that before. Wish I could soar in the sky sometimes.
I'm just going to lie under the umbrella and read my book while I enjoy the sounds of the waves. You go ahead and splash around in the water. I'll join you in a bit.

We lived in Charleston, SC for three years......if hubby can get employment there we would not think twice about moving back.

ReplyDeleteWe went there last summer too! I went to college in Savannah (just across the river from C'ston) and it reminded me so much of living in that area- all that old world ambience, so charming!
