Missing all of you

This my happy place. Whenever I get stressed or overwhelmed this is where you will find me. Lying in a hammock at the beach listening to the waves roll in, enjoying a good book and then a nice nap. With a tall glass of sweet tea by my side.
I have not had time to create any art lately. We are trying to get the house ready to go on the market. So many things we need to complete. No time for the fun things like playing in my art room. I will have to pack it up soon. Making sure to organize the boxes and do some good labeling.  Hopefully our next place will have a little place for me to create in, again. I liked not having to clean up when it was dinner time or before company came. I could just leave a project right where it was.
Anyway, I have not been visiting much lately. I have missed you all so much. I will have to get my fix right after I post this. I feel like we are old friends and I miss our chats. I need to see what you have created, decorated or picked lately from your garden. Flowers are blooming like crazy and my window boxes are looking fuller and fuller every day. My daisies are coming back with a fury this year. Wowza! Good thing they are in a large container or they may have gotten  out of control. They self seed like crazy.
Anyway just wanted to stop by and say hello. I had a lady who spammed all of my posts so I had to go to comment moderation , so please do not be offended by me needing to read your comments first. It was such a nuisance to go through all of them and delete them.

  3. WOW what a beautiful spot to destress. Don't feel bad about going to moderation I did that on my older posts and added the word verification because of spam comments.

  4. Tammy we miss you too!! Hope you can manage to find some time for yourself soon amidst all the organizing and packing.

I'm sure you'll find a spot to create in in your new house, and it'll be lovely when you're settled and can get out all you art materials and start to play again!

In the meantime maybe have just a little sketchbook? I do that when I'm away from home (I find I get a bit twitchy if I don't do any art for a while!!)

Lovely to hear from you, miss you lots and hope to have you back soon! Angie x

  6. Tammy, we miss you too! Can't wait for you to have more time to create and visit!

I've been the same way, posting infrequently, 2 weeks in a row not completing the IA challenges, sheesh... But I don't have a good excuse like you do. I'm going to try to do better. I think in my case, it's the weather ~ I've been outside a lot. So much to do out there! Your daisies are fabulous!!

It's a shame about your spammer. What a pain!

Take care Tammy, and good luck with your move.

  11. Hi, Tammy! We've missed you! SOrry you're so busy...but that's what moving does to you...hope you can calm down soon!

I have a happy place very much like yours...spent a day like that in Hawaii once...my husband spent the day at a fabulous golf course (I don't golf, and didn't want him to have to spend the day teaching me!), and I spent the day lying in a hammock between two tall palms RIGHT on the edge of the water...bliss...that is where I go.

Thanks for the visit and kind words said...always appreciated!

I wish for you a peaceful, calm and wonderful Memorial Day and weekend!

    Julie

  13. So strange to think of you moving soon, just when we planning a few day adventures. I understand it's something you're looking forward to and I guess it will just give me an excuse to travel to see you.

Good luck with house packing and all.
    Hugs♥
PS. I can totally relate to the daisies, they're everywhere here! ;D
