Before and After Kitchen

Our kitchen Before and After the new tile floor and new dishwasher. Our floor was finished Friday and I had to dust everything in the entire upstairs. Ugh. There was a layer of dust all over everything. You can see that on the table. I promise it is not like that usually. I cannot however claim that for the top of the frig. When I need to get something above the frig., my husband usually has written a message to me in the dust. I tell him if he can see it and write in it then he needs to dust it. lol I'm in love with my new floor. Our old dishwasher leaked and went under the old tiles so we had to replace the dishwasher and floor. Oh darn!! ;D

  4. The new tile definitely warms up the kitchen even more. I live in a country of dust so everything at my place is always covered in a layer of it. Everyone asks how I clean it all since I have so much stuff. I tell them I just pick it up and blow if off and if they are sitting next to something when they visit that needs dusting, then they are obliged to do the same. HA! I really need to clean now but just keep putting it off. Have a great day! :) Tammy

  5. Oh, your kitchen's awesome, and the new floor and dishwasher are much better than before!! Your kitchen's huge from what I see! You should totally add an island in there with a big butcher's block top for more prep space ;)

  6. So pretty, and don't you love it when life insists that must replace things with shiny NEW beauties! I have to admit, I'm a follower of that old decree- "A clean house is a sign of misspent time...." these days with 2 1/2 teens, one husband and 4cats, the best I can deliver is a TIDY house:)
    Cheers

  9. Beautiful, Tammy! That's what you call a silver lining ~ a leaking dishwasher gets you a new floor! I wish mine would leak, I need a new floor.

I love the warm color of the tiles with the white cabinets. You're so lucky to have a big kitchen!

  11. Thank you ladies for the sweet and funny comments. I am in love with my new floor. I have not liked those old tiles since we bought our home 5 yrs ago, but they were doing the job, so I felt guilty about getting a new one. Not anymore.

    Xo all~
