Texture and Dreaming of Daffodils/Furry

I am dreaming of Daffodils. The first signs of spring. These are from my garden last year. I took them in front of a blue tarp that was on our boat. I love the way it made them pop. I made this collage in Picnik and then used the HDR ish effect. I think I will paint the one in the upper left hand corner. It reminds me of a ballerina twirling. I love the colors! They make me happy.

I have been itching to go out with my camera to get some more fun things downtown Charleston. It is so beautiful. What types of things do you enjoy photographing?

This sculpture was massive. It was at a putt putt in Florida. I could not help but be drawn to it. The hair is furry with plants, so this is my entry in this weeks Inspiration Avenue's challenge theme "furry".

Having a little fun with words and birds

I had some fun today with my camera. This has not been edited in any way. I love the vibrant blue behind the yellow daffodil from my garden. Guess what the blue is. A tarp covering our boat. I held the dafodil out and snapped the shot a few feet away from the boat and focused in on the flower. I love how it turned out. I may have to put this in my etsy shop.

I love vintage papers and images. Here I used stamps and vintage colored ink pads to create these fun tags. I ripped the bottoms and added an antique looking wire edged ribbon to finish them off.
I just adore chubby birds. This time of year they are plentiful. They are singing their song and creating the perfect nests for their ittle ones. Dancing with their partners in the sky.

Words of inspiration. These have been ripped, inked, stamped and aged. Perfect for embellishing just about anything. I like to use them in my journals, mixed-media pieces and cards.

I have been a busy bee. Lots of paper crafting. Flowers and envelopes will be finished soon and I will be back to show some of those, as well.

You all know how much I am yearning for spring. Well, I saw these miniature daffodils in the grocery store and they had my name written all over them. So they camehome with me.

I am greeted at the kitchen sink with these smile makers. So sunny and happy.

The heads are a little larger than a quarter, but I zoomed in here to capture their beauty.
