" A stitch in time saves nine" sweet sewing box

Sew here's the sweet sewing box I mentioned in my last post. It is made up of three progressive sized boxes, which I painted in a metallic copper. Each lid comes off, all of them are attached to one another. I layered on vintage laces, buttons and corsage pins, along with some paper flowers with pearl centers and the quote, "A stitch in time saves nine". There is plenty of room for all of your sewing bits.  Isn't it is super sweet?.

  14. Thank you! You've just given me the greatest idea for my shoe boxes. I keep all the shoe boxes I get when I buy a pair of shoes just in case I think of something to do with them. And, well, this is just excellent. I also love to sew! Thanks for the wonderful crafty project!
