I read that Soo Kee, a jeweler from Singapore, built this Christmas tree in 2006. It has nearly 4,000 crystal beads and almost 22,000 diamonds. It has been valued at $1 million USD.[£490,000GBP] Can you believe that? WOW!!! How gorgeous is that!
Meanwhile my house is still bare. I need to get on the ball and get this place decorated this weekend. I usually would have it done by last week but this has been an unusually busy time for our household. My tree will not look like the one above but it will be pretty nonetheless. The lights and sparkle are what always make me happy. I love turning out the lights in the room and having the tree lit up and just enjoying it's beauty. Do you do that? fa la la la la....

ReplyDeleteI have not decorated yet either due to a busy week. I think we are the only two bloggers in the world who haven't! Tomorrow we will get started and enjoy taking our time and listening to Christmas music.
