Great pictures! It must be really nice to be close enough to visit the Mertopolitan Museum. Congrats on your SITS day!
Just gorgeous! Sometimes I ponder at the fact that back then they were able to create such beautiful things and today we supposedly have so much more capability but I don't know that we create anything as beautiful or as lasting.
Great photos. I haven't been there - yet!
Happy SITS Day! Beautiful photos. I haven't been there in ages--your post reminded me, I want to go back!
Thanks for sharing! Those are great pictures:0)
I've only been once for a few hours, but it was great. Have you ever read the book "The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil Frank..."Somebody - I can't remember the whole title. It's about some kids who run away and live for a week in the Met! Fun story. Congrats on your SITS day!
Congrats on being the SITS FB of the day! I absolutely LOVE The Met. I try to get there at least once a year. Each time I visit a different gallery. Your post made me long to go again...soon! Too bad I live 4 hours away.
Oh, I want to go! We tried to take our twins to an art museum last year (at 2 and a half years old). Turned out that was a bad, bad idea :) We'll try again soon...
I really hope to visit there one day!
Did you take all of those pics? Lovely! I would love to go there some day. The Columbus mueseum(where I am from) doesn't hold as many treasures!
Wow! That is incredible... I'd love to visit there someday! that crazy necklace is AWESOME :) And I love the painting of the guy with all the different thingies hanging from it, too. lol... Not very technical wording, but you get my drift!

I've got goose-bumples and i'm giddy from this post of pics....I'm so into this...it's on my list of things to do before i'm 40.... just amazing!!!
I've not had the chance to visit that museum. I love the eclectic nature of the pieces you posted. Amazing and beautiful pieces of artwork!
I love the Met. There's so much to see and take in. I wonder if it's possible to see everything it has to offer? I wonder how long that would take. I've visited a few times and I've only seen a fraction of it.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures!
Oh, I have always wanted to go there! Someday...
Stopping by from SITS! I would love to go there!
So beautiful! I want to go!

This pictures are great. I love going to the art museum in my town.
The Metropolitan, is seriously, my FAVORITE place on earth. Nowhere else do I feel so peaceful. And my favorite movie is "The Thomas Crown Affair" because it takes place there...(the remake, with Pierce Brosnan). GREAT movie showcasing this lovely museum.
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing your pictures, I would love to visit there someday.
I wish I could take my kids there. We love stuff like that. Just nothing grand in our neck of the woods. Thanks for sharing with those of us who don't get the opportunity to visit.
Now I want to go to an art museum! Luckily the Cleveland art museum is pretty good. Great pictures!
I love the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I always thought that if I lived in New York,it would have to right across the street. There is so much to see there, it would take years to get through it and then you would have to go back and see your favorites.
Great photos! Happy SITS Day! :)
