  19. Just gorgeous! Sometimes I ponder at the fact that back then they were able to create such beautiful things and today we supposedly have so much more capability but I don't know that we create anything as beautiful or as lasting.

  23. I've only been once for a few hours, but it was great. Have you ever read the book "The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil Frank..."Somebody - I can't remember the whole title. It's about some kids who run away and live for a week in the Met! Fun story. Congrats on your SITS day!

  41. The Metropolitan, is seriously, my FAVORITE place on earth. Nowhere else do I feel so peaceful. And my favorite movie is "The Thomas Crown Affair" because it takes place there...(the remake, with Pierce Brosnan). GREAT movie showcasing this lovely museum.

  45. I love the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I always thought that if I lived in New York,it would have to right across the street. There is so much to see there, it would take years to get through it and then you would have to go back and see your favorites.

  71. Wow! What an amazing variety of art in so many different styles. I'm amazed by the beautiful mosaics and I like the painting with the tolls and things hanging off the bottom. Very evocative.
