Slice 'em up and toss with an Italian vinegarette and voila you have a nice side dish, or lunch.
Fresh strawberries from the market go so nicely with extra sharp Vermont cheddar cheese and crackers. A perfect summertime lunch or snack.
Look, I still have them. Remember the momma Robin must have been scared off by a wandering cat and these were abandoned for quite some time. Many of you suggested I keep them . I just adore the color of the eggs and the nest is perfect, so I did but not until this past week did I put them in this little greenhouse next to my favorite chair on the front porch. Now they are there for everyone to enjoy.
The blogging world is full of such wonderful people. I am so happy to be making friends like you. Have a wonderful Wednesday. xoxo, Tammy

Hi Tammy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. You asked about my follower button...well I'm glad you did because I didn't realize it wasn't there. I was rearranging things on my sidebar and didn't realize that I accidently deleted it! Thanks for letting me know it wasn't there!
Regarding the robin's eggs you pictured in your nest, I had one that Mama Robin left in a nest by our house and took it inside too. My husband told me it may start to smell. I noticed the other day that it had started oozing on the bottom, so I had to throw it away. But it didn't smell until I picked it up to throw away and then it smelled like a bunch of rotten eggs - so beware!
