Hi Tammy, I just spent hours writing a poem. I was determined to come up with something. Hope you like it.

Me! (the other Tammy :)
Oh my goodness, Tammy. You really pushed my comfort zone here as I am certainly no poet. However, I am a word game lover so I gave it my best shot -
ReplyDeleteStaring through the window pane
A day so gray and full of rain,
I fell asleep and woke to see
A bright red bird who sang to me
Enchanting tales from days of lore
When seers called the sea to shore
And blessed were those who did believe
That kindness was the highest deed
The clouds did part, the sky shone blue
He spread his wings and off he flew
I felt my soul soar high and free
For Nature sent Her love to me
Wow, ladies! You are both such talented poets! I am quite impressed. Thank you for playing along. I thought it would be fun. You both amazed me.
ReplyDeleteI will post mine tomorrow.
hugs to you both,
Tammy
Mina is a poet and she just didn't know it! Ha! I'm waiting to see what you came up with. :) Best wishes, Tammy
ReplyDeleteI'm making a quick stop to tell you I have left an award for you on my blog. If you don't like awards, as I know some people don't, I really just want you to know you are one of the people who have been a huge inspiration to me and I greatly appreciate that. Have a great weekend!
